Weekly AI visibility review
What changed, your gaps, your easiest wins and what to do this week. One command in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, answered with your real Howseen data.
Command
Paste this in your assistant
Connected to the Howseen MCP server, Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor runs this command with the Howseen tools listed below, on your own brands only. It is also built in as the ready-made weekly_review prompt.
Run my weekly Howseen review: what changed since my last scan on each AI engine, the buyer questions where a competitor is named and not me, the easiest sites to get listed on, and the 3 things I should do this week. Not connected yet? Set it up in 2 minutes for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
What it does for you
What “Weekly AI visibility review” does for you
What changed, your gaps, your easiest wins and what to do this week: your assistant answers from your own Howseen data, the same numbers as your dashboard, in one plain-English command.
Monday morning, one question, one plan. The weekly_review prompt chains four reads: what moved between your last two scans engine by engine, the questions you lose, the sites AI already cites in those answers ranked easiest first, and your next best actions. You get a short brief instead of a dashboard tour.
Under the hood
The tools it uses
Your assistant picks these Howseen tools by itself. Read tools work with any key. This use case only reads your data, so a read-only key is enough.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
get_changes | What moved between your last two scans, per AI engine |
get_prompt_gaps | Questions where a competitor is named and you are not |
get_easiest_wins | The sites AI cites in those answers, ranked, easiest first |
get_action_plan | Your next best actions |
“Think of MCP like a USB-C port for AI applications.”
Anthropic open-sourced the protocol in November 2024 (Anthropic, Introducing the Model Context Protocol (November 2024)), and OpenAI documents how its models connect to remote MCP servers (OpenAI, Connectors and MCP servers). All 26 tools and the security model are on the MCP server page.

Different engines trust different sources: in our study of 5,331 AI answers, YouTube was cited in 45% of Google AI Overviews and in 0 of 1,164 ChatGPT answers. Research on generative engines shows that the way a page answers decides how often it is cited (Aggarwal et al., GEO: Generative Engine Optimization, KDD 2024). The MCP server is included from Pro and in the 3-day trial (pricing).
