How it works
E-E-A-T, Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust, is Google's framework for judging whether content can be trusted. AI answer engines lean on the same signals to decide which pages to cite. We check your page for 7 of them.
“The focus on E-E-A-T can help you calibrate your sites in order to make sure that they're providing a satisfying experience, and that they're trustworthy.”

FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask most before they run the E-E-A-T checker, based on what the tool actually checks.
Is E-E-A-T a ranking factor?+
Google says E-E-A-T itself is not a single ranking signal, it is a framework raters and systems use to judge content quality. AI answer engines look for the same underlying signals, a named author, a real source, when deciding what to cite.
Why does an author matter for AI citations?+
A named, identifiable author with credentials is a trust signal that both search quality raters and AI systems can check, unlike anonymous content.
Do I need all 7 signals?+
No single signal decides a citation. Each one adds to how trustworthy the page looks; fixing the ones marked as a problem is the highest-leverage place to start.
What counts as an authoritative outbound link?+
A link to a primary source such as official documentation, research, or a .gov, .edu or Wikipedia page, used to back up a factual claim on your page.
