Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Howseen AI (the "Service"), operated by Raphaël Aubry, sole trader (micro-entreprise), SIREN 102456951, 128 rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris, France ("Howseen", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Howseen is a generative-engine-optimization (GEO) platform that tracks how AI assistants and search engines represent your brand, and helps you create and publish content to improve that visibility. Features may evolve over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

3. Plans, billing & cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance (monthly or annually) through Stripe.
Prices are shown on our site. As a French micro-entreprise under the VAT-exemption scheme (article 293 B of the CGI), VAT is not applicable.
You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Unless required by law, payments already made are non-refundable, except under any satisfaction guarantee we explicitly offer.
We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to your next billing cycle.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating any law; infringing others' rights; attempting to breach security; scraping or overloading the Service; or using it to generate deceptive, unlawful, or harmful content. You are responsible for the content you generate and publish.

5. Third-party connections

You may connect third-party accounts (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, WordPress, Shopify). You are responsible for your use of those services and for holding the necessary rights and permissions. Our use of Google data is described in our Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Howseen. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your account is active. Content you provide or generate remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to operate the Service (e.g., to store and publish it on your behalf).

7. Availability & disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee specific visibility, ranking, citation, or business results, which depend on many factors outside our control (including changes by AI and search providers). We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Howseen is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
