Get every new article into Bing, fast
Add your Bing Webmaster API key once: Howseen submits each published article to Bing and tracks its crawl, so assistants that search with Bing can find it.

What the Bing integration does
Howseen submits the URL of each new article to Bing with your Bing Webmaster key, then reads back the crawl date and the page clicks and impressions.
Bing lets site owners submit URLs directly instead of waiting for a crawl (Bing Webmaster Tools, URL submission). Submissions respect your daily Bing quota. Articles on a blog hosted by Howseen need no key: they go out through IndexNow, the open protocol Bing supports.
“IndexNow is an easy way for websites owners to instantly inform search engines and web crawlers used for information retrieval (“search engines”) about latest content changes on their website.”
Setup
How to connect Bing Webmaster Tools
Create an API key in Bing Webmaster Tools for your verified site, then paste it in Howseen settings; Howseen checks that the key works and that your site is verified.
Microsoft documents how to get a Bing Webmaster API key (Microsoft Learn, Bing Webmaster API: getting access). The key is yours: Howseen uses it only to submit your own URLs. Your site must be verified in Bing Webmaster Tools first.

Questions, answered
Why submit to Bing at all?+
Bing is a search engine in its own right, and some AI assistants search the web with it. A page Bing has not found yet cannot appear in those answers.
Whose API key is used?+
Yours. You create it in Bing Webmaster Tools for your verified site and paste it in Howseen settings.
Does submission guarantee indexing?+
No. Submission tells Bing the page exists; indexing stays Bing's decision. Howseen shows when Bing crawled the page.
Which plans include it?+
Every plan, and the 3-day trial.
